Music Programme Dutch Design Week complete

Live music daily at various locations in Eindhoven

Dutch Design Week (DDW), from 17 until 25 October in Eindhoven, boosts the festival feeling with the introduction of DDW Music. Throughout the week, there are daily live performances in various locations in the city, free admission when you present your DDW ticket. Twenty new names complete the line-up. Shows by Two Gallants and Rufus Wainwright have already been announced. The online ticket sales have begun. See the website for the events or for more information and the complete programme.

DDW Music

DDW Music is a collaboration between Dutch Design Week, the Effenaar and the bookings agency Friendly Fire. During the week there will be live performances in the city in café Altstadt, the Van Abbemuseum, Tuchthuis, Stroomhuis, café Wilhelmina, Arcade, Nul Zes – and the Ketelhuisplein, to name but a few (daily from 16:00 and 19:00 hours).

Line-up complete

The DDW Music programme will include folk, garage, indie and electronica and be varied and cutting edge. The complete line-up includes: Rufus Wainwright, Ryley Walker, Afterpartees, Falco Benz, Dazzled Sticks, OIJ, Two Gallants, St. Tropez, Nouveau Vélo, LoneLady, New Desert Blues, Rachel Sermanni, Throes + The Shine, BEA1991, Charlie Cunningham, Demob Happy, K.Flay, K15, STUFF., Young Marco, The Prettiots, Fickle Friends, Elvis Perkins, Seven Davis Jr, Hollis Brown, Grim Tim, I Have a Tribe, Fraser A. Gorman, The Homesick.

Tickets

Admission to all the concerts (except for the Specials) is free upon presentation of your DDW ticket (online sales: €16.00, excl. service costs).Without a DDW ticket, a concert ticket costs €5.00 for each concert (only available at the door). For the previously announced Specials, Two Gallants (Effenaar, Thursday 22 October) and Rufus Wainwright (Muziekgebouw, Sunday 25 October) tickets are available through the Effenaar website (www.effenaar.nl).

The Closing Party

Also new this year: The Closing Party, the official conclusion of DDW on Saturday 24 October in the Effenaar. Tickets for this evening, with performances by DJs/producers Kutmah (UK) and Zes (NL), will be available soon through the DDW website.

Dutch Design Week will take place from Saturday 17 until Sunday 25 October in Eindhoven (the Netherlands).
