LONDON / NEW YORK –  The “2013 MTV EMA Red Carpet Show” sponsored byessence will be a must-see event, as MTV today announced that the first two awards of the night will be presented live from the red carpet! The coveted Biggest Fans title will be unveiled by rapper and producer Dizzee Rascal, while this year’s winner ofBest Look, an award also sponsored by essence, will also be announced during the Red Carpet Show.

Hosted by international MTV presenters Laura Whitmore and Louise Roe, the “2013 MTV EMA Red Carpet Show” will premiere Sunday, November 10th at 8:00PM CET*, and give viewers a front row seat to all the pre-show action before the“2013 MTV EMA” main show begins.

MTV also announced today that actor RJ Mitte is confirmed to present during the main show. Mitte, best known as Walt Jr. on the smash hit series Breaking Bad, one of the most critically acclaimed TV shows of all time, now stars on the new showSwitched at Birth.

The 60-minute “2013 MTV EMA Red Carpet Show” will feature interviews with A-list artists and celebs, including “2013 MTV EMA” performers and presenters who will be walking the red carpet before entering the Ziggo Dome for the big event. The “2013 MTV EMA” will broadcast live Sunday, November 10th at 9:00PM CET*from the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, and is sponsored by partners such as Monster DNA Headphones.

Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon, Snoop Dogg, Afrojack, Imagine Dragons, Icona Pop, The Killers and Katy Perry are all set to perform at the “2013 MTV EMA,” which will also feature the evening’s MCRedfoo,backstage host Ariana Grande and special guest Ron Burgundy ofAnchorman 2 (Will Ferrell). Jared Leto, Bridgit Mendler, Iggy Azalea, Ellie Goulding, Carice van Houten and Colton Haynes are also confirmed to present.

Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the “2013 MTV EMA”nominations with five nods each, while Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber andRobin Thicke are each up for four awards. Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Green Day, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Daft Punk, Rudimental, Icona Pop and One Directionare each nominated for three awards. Artists with two EMA nods include Rihanna, Katy Perry, Eminem, Jay Z, Bastille, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Paramore, Rita Ora, Drake, Afrojack, Avicii, Calvin Harris and Iggy Azalea.
