Dylan Scott

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 26, 2016 Curb recording artist Dylan Scott made the most of his debut album launch, and is #1 New and Active on the Billboard chart this week.  The Louisiana native continued his road streak hitting nine different cities last week to promote his new self-titled album with a string of events that included a stop at the Walmart in West Monroe, Louisiana – just a few miles from his hometown. He then hit the road on Wednesday, August 17, for a historic live-streamed tour on Facebook Live that lasted 14 hours across three cities.  Beginning in Dallas with social media influencer Candace Payne (Chewbacca Mom), the fast paced Texas tour included a performance at radio station KASE in Austin, a first ever mobile meet and greet from the bus, celebrity and media call ins and a full band concert in Houston, TX where he signed autographs for two hours after the show.

The album debuted at #3 on the Top Current Country Albums chart, #21 on the Billboard Top Album Overall Chart and #46 on the Billboard Top 200 Total Consumption Chart with 11,302.

Already referred to as the artist development story of the year, Dylan Scott’s lead up to the album launch included over 625,000 plays in the last seven days and over 4 million this quarter on Pandora alone.  Scott recently eclipsed the 500k downloads sold mark, finished this year’s Life Off My Years Tour with Lee Brice, performed on national television and made his Grand Ole Opry debut.  Scott’s current single, “My Girl”, launched with enormous response as fans devoured a lead in video series that announced the new single, new album, and marriage to his high school sweetheart.  In the digital space, the song has already received more than 5 million video views and surpassed 625,000 Pandora plays in the seven days leading up to the album launch.
