John Zay’s Releases New Music Video
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22, 2016 John Zay releases new music video ‘Wanderlust’. Shot on location in Sagres, Portugal, the video is beautiful scenic journey through this hidden gem on the Algarve coast. ‘Wanderlust’ is a mellow mix of Progressive Rock & Reggae featuring Angelo Moore of Fishbone on Saxophones and Tobias Ralph of The Adrian Belew Power Trio on Drums.
For John Zay traveling is a spiritual experience. After participating in a series of Shamanic Ayahuasca journeys from 2008 – 2012, John Zay was inspired to leave his life behind in LA and follow a life long dream to live and play music inEurope. His 3 year quest brought from Germany to Portugal performing and recording along the way.
With his fiance and dog by his side and who both appear in the video, Zay landed in the beautiful town of Sagres, Portugal. The concept for the video for Wanderlust was to capture a day in the life in Sagres which translates as ‘Sacred’ in English. Located on the southwest corner of Europe where the Algarve and Atlantic coasts meet, this stunning small beach town was awarded #8 in National Geographic’s top 10 Ocean views in the world (http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/travel/top-10/ocean-views/).
To coincide with the release John Zay is making “Wanderlust” available as a free download with 2 more of his tracks as an EP. The Video and Download are available exclusively at http://www.johnzaymusic.com.
