Jeangu Macrooy at the Uitmarkt

Amsterdam, 19 August 2016

Today was the second day of the ‘Uitmarkt on location’. The program started at 16:30, and the crowd consisted of the regular Friday afternoon visitors at the Amsterdam Central Station. Folks coming and going: it’s the Friday buzz.

The afternoon consisted of four short performances by TOEAC & Gijs, Jeangu Macrooy, Stuart Mavis and Rivers.

Jeangu Macrooy gave an impressive performance. A voice never to forget. If his performance represents what you may expect during the Uitmarkt, then I have no doubt that it will be one of the best Uitmarkt’s ever. You have a chance to see Jeangu Macrooy perform at the Museumplein on Friday 26 August.

Jeangu Macrooy was born in Paramaribo. His debut EP ‘Brave Enough’ was released on April 7 2016. He was announced ‘3FM Serious Talent’ that same month.
