Jana’s RedRoom Gallery Announces Las Vegas International Juried Art Competition

LAS VEGAS, April 12, 2016 Jana’s RedRoom Gallery, a Las Vegas art gallery located in the Arts District, invites artists worldwide to submit original artwork for consideration in the inaugural Las Vegas Invitational Juried Art Competition. The International scope of the competition will shine a light on award-winning artists as Jana’s RedRoom Gallery invites the world to join the Las Vegas art scene. The deadline for submissions is June 15. Winners will be announced July 10.

Artists may submit original artwork completed in the last two years in any of nine categories, including paintings, ceramics, drawings, glass, mixed media, photography, printmaking, sculpture and other art forms. The fee for submission is $35. All winning artwork will be displayed in Jana’s RedRoom Grand Gallery, Sept. 1-30. An award reception and exhibition gala will be held Sept. 10.

Seven jurors from the US and around the world will judge the entries. To ensure complete integrity in the judging process the jurors will be announced after the winners have been selected.

One grand prize winner for best of show will have a solo show at Jana’s RedRoom Gallery, and will be prominently featured in all marketing opportunities in connection with the art competition and Jana’s RedRoom Gallery, plus an opportunity to sell their artwork through the gallery’s online store. Other prizes include 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and honorable mention winners for each of the nine categories.
